New iPad Pro and Apple Pencil

Isn’t this just another iPad? Apple describes this iPad as “the most capable and powerful iPad we’ve ever created,” and I think they are right. Featuring a 12.9 inch display with a resolution of 2732×2048, which is more than a 15-inch MacBook Pro has. The iPad Pro display features a full on-screen keyboard, partner that with a multitasking split-view and picture in picture to watch videos while working on say a document, and you have great addition to the iPad line. Some of the additional specs include an 8MP iSight camera, a FaceTime HD camera, comes in Silver, Gold and Space Gray. Inside, Apple has added 802.11ac support, as well as support for 150Mbps LTE speeds. Pricing for the iPad Pro starts at $799 for the 32GB model.


Inside, Apple has included its newest A9X processor, partnered with a battery that will provide 10 hours of battery life, all while weighing only 1.57lbs and being 6.9mm thin. Included for the first time ever, Apple has put a four speaker system in the iPad Pro, two on the left, two on the right. Depending how you are holding the iPad Pro, the speakers will adjust and balance the sound accordingly, and it comes in at three times as loud as the iPad Air 2. Running on Apple’s latest software, iOS 9, the iPad Pro will work with a stylus, dubbed Apple Pencil, and a smart keyboard accessory. iPad Pro This is where things get interesting. Of course, this is no ordinary stylus. The Pencil works seamlessly with an array of iOS apps allowing you to draw onto the apps and unlock other functions. Excited to use Microsoft Office on the iPad Pro? Use the Pencil to draw some beautiful graphs or annotate documents. The Apple Pencil also comes with a built-in lightning plug that is revealed by removing the Pencil’s cap. Apple says that the Apple Pencil sports 12 hours of battery life, and when you’re done, you can charge up the the stylus with a Lightning connector right from the iPad Pro.
